El 16 de diciembre de 1991, a los pocos meses de firmada la nueva Constituci\u00f3n Pol\u00edtica de Colombia, que reconoc\u00eda los pueblos ind\u00edgenas como sujetos de derechos, en el norte del Cauca, el pueblo Nasa vivi\u00f3 una masacre en la hacienda del Nilo, que estaba en proceso de recuperaci\u00f3n de tierras. En esta masacre fueron asesinadas alrededor de 20 personas por narcotraficantes y miembros de la Polic\u00eda Nacional. Luego del momento de identificaci\u00f3n de los cuerpos, Marta Rodr\u00edguez y Danilo Pi\u00f1akue entrevistan a las familias de las v\u00edctimas que testimonian las dificultades y el hambre que enfrentan. El registro continua con una marcha de las comunidades ind\u00edgenas en contra de la presencia de grupos armados en la regi\u00f3n y el derecho a la tierra. Posteriormente viene una misa en dos lenguas, espa\u00f1ol y nasa.
