Reuni\u00f3n de capitanes, es decir, l\u00edderes de la comunidad ind\u00edgena de Cumarido (Vichada), centrada en la lucha por la defensa de los ind\u00edgenas frente a la persecuci\u00f3n de los colonos y del ej\u00e9rcito. Intervenci\u00f3n del compa\u00f1ero Jos\u00e9 Romero de Cumarito, en compa\u00f1\u00eda del padre Gonzales y de antrop\u00f3logos de la Universidad Nacional y de la instituci\u00f3n Cavitas, solidarios con la lucha por la defensa de la comunidad guahiba. Comparte un saludo especial del padre Gustavo P\u00e9rez y de Camilo Moncada, quienes tambi\u00e9n defienden a los ind\u00edgenas de Planas. El objetivo de la reuni\u00f3n es redactar una carta al presidente Misael Pastrana para exigir al gobierno las condiciones necesarias para que las comunidades puedan vivir en paz y con seguridad.
