Su tortura y posterior asesinato se debe al secuestro por parte de las FARC del ganadero Jos\u00e9 Eduardo Mattos. En este encuentro, los ind\u00edgenas reciben la documentaci\u00f3n registrada por Marta y la comentan entre ellos en idioma Iku.
