Por medio de la recuperación de la memoria, la intensión de este documental es llevar a todo el mundo las imágenes y los testimonios de las comunidades del Urabá Antioqueño y Chocuano, que fueron víctimas de los actores armados que actúan en Colombia: Guerrilla, paramilitares y ejército. lo que llevó a que fueran expulsados violentamente de sus tierras en el año de 1997.

In the violent and complex conflict that has wracked Colombia, the most vulnerable have always been the most affected. The Urabá Trilogy (Never Again, An Empty House Cracks, and Soraya: Love Is Not Oblivion) presents the stories of Afro-Colombian peasants in the department of Chocó who have been displaced by the armed conflict between the national army, Colombian guerillas, and the right-wing paramilitary.

In this first part of The Urabá Trilogy, survivors of gruesome massacres by paramilitary death squads in Chocó, Colombia, tell their stories. The film captures their clamor for justice and the repatriation of their lands as well as their search for emotional closure. The people of Chocó vividly recount through music, dance, art, and their own gripping narratives the uprooting from their humble lives in the rainforest to the degradation of the refugee camps. Never Again aims to make certain that their story is heard.
